It depends on what STD you have.
For example, penicillin will work to cure a syphilis infection, but won't work to cure a chlamydia or gonorrhea infection.
Antibiotics are used to cure bacterial STDs such as syphilis, chlamydia or gonorrhea. Antibiotics will NOT work on viral STDs like herpes, HIV, hepatitis, and HPV. Viral STDs have NO cure. There are treatments with antiviral medications, but there is NO cure.
If you have a STD or think you might have one go to a doctor and have them test you. They will be able to properly diagnose you and offer treatments or cures. Good luck!

STD's must be treated by a medical doctor. The doctor determines the cause of the STD and prescribes the proper course of treatment eg. antimicrobials. Different STD's require different medication. For example, herpes is caused by a virus and is treated with an antiviral. Syphlis and gonnorrhea are bacteria and are treated with antibiotics. It is very important to take all medication and follow up with your doctor...some of the STD's are tenacious and hard to get rid of.

ABSTINENCE. But obviously, if you are engaging in sexual activity you must know that there are MANY types of Sexually Transmitted Diseased out there. For some there may be cures, for other there are none. Meaning not all STD's can be cured. You need to practice safe sex, and if you are not prepared for the real consequences associated with this behavior then you do not need to have sex anyway! Wrap it up!

it really depends on what STD you have some like Gonorrhea which are bacterial STDs can be "cured" with antibiotics, but as far as Viral STDs, your stuck with them they can be treated but you will always have them. I would go to a doctor to see what you might have and he will talk with you about a treatment.

PROTECTION.
As everyone here says, all STDs have different treatments depending on what it is.
The problem is that these things have a nasty habit of coming back again and again. So the best way to treat them is to avoid them by
PROTECTION.

it depends on what sexually transmitted disease you are trying to cure. not all stds are curable. only the bacterial kinds. gonorrhea and chlamydia are curable with antibiotics. fungal and parasitic stds can also be cured. you need to get medication from a doctor though.
