I don't know what your venue is, but I'd probably do something like this:

60 pkgs 10ct hot dogs - $60

75 pkgs 8 ct hot dog buns - $60

(Put those in a big kettle of water and just keep dropping in dogs as they empty them out)

75 medium pizzas (get 25 sausage, 25 pepperoni, 25 cheese) - $450 (most places will do large quantities for about $6 each, consider ordering from two places if one can't do all of them)

10 bottles mustard - $10

10 jars relish - $10

10 bottles ketchup - $10

1200 paper plates - $15

$1200 napkins - $8

1200 (10 cases of 12ct) sodas - $300

900 individual bags of chips - $180

75lbs baby carrots - $75

75lbs broccoli florets - $75

75pts dip (get onion and ranch) - $75

12 sheet cakes from Costco - $180

Your total is about $1500. Shop Costco, shop discount stores, get sodas on sale, etc.

This allows for one dog, one slice pizza, 1 1/2 bags chips, 2 sodas, 4oz veggies, 2oz dip, and a slice of cake for each person attending. That's about how you want to prep for a party this size. Good luck! It sounds like a blast :)

Oh my with the price of food today everyone i know of have pot luck it's called even if your having the party you can ask for them to bring their favorite dish. And the way saying this without hurting anyone. { I think we'll have a different party this time with so many people WE ALL can bring our own special dish and we get to taste all different foods. And all you have to supply then are the forks, spoons ,knives,lg.spoons. rolls, butter, coffee tea and juice-cream, milk. very inexpensive. We had done this with 500 hundred people,And you'll be able to enjoy it more. I just done my daughter's wedding and it cost over 8 thousand dollars.with maybe 3 hundred people.Wish I had gone this way.GOOD LUCK>

All the best to you*
Not sure how you'll achieve that wtih 1500.00. The dj is expensive, then the decorations and the food and beverages (You may say alcohol is not permitted, but tell that to 600 college kids) GOODLUCK*

Check out local stores that give away left overs like Panera bread or Publix. Call Pepsi or Coco Cola for donations. Maybe someone can tutor for cash, just an idea.

Go to Costco or Sam's Club or BJ's and buy party platters. The key is basically to buy in bulk.
