The only complications of low cholestrol are loss of libido, cancer of liver, and is present in diabetics (this is what I have come across) may be more or less.
However there is a huge controversy going on about this cholestrol.
I don't know what they have to say about congenital hypercholestrolemia, as I personally know one person at the age of 60> no complaints!!!
