Hi, Pittmanette, you can try checking out the vegetarian restaurants listed on VegDining.com for your area. Here's the link:
http://www.vegdining.com/GetRestList.cfm?rgk=NA-US-PA
You will also find useful, aside from the list, the fact that these restaurants have been reviewed by people who have actually been there.
Good luck finding a great vegetarian dining experience in Erie!

most mexican restaurants have a vegetarian section, Olive Garden has a few veggie selections and are also very much willing to change recipes around to make them vegetarian when you order, and, if you are looking for fast food veggie selections, Taco Bell is a good option. Their refried beans are completely vegetarian and you can order many of the items without meat. (I recommend Nachos Bell Grande without beef add guac.)

I really recommend "Native Foods" but I have seen it at California...so I recommend chinesse and japanesse restaurants. Also you can search www.happycow.net and www.vegweb.com, www.veganfusion.com and tryveg.com
Good luck!
