1.The causative factors may be the same for both eg. hypertension and/or atherosclerosis.

2.A heart attack may give rise to a stroke eg. through a drop in blood pressure as occurs in cardiogenic shock.

3.A cerebral stroke can trigger a heart attack through several pathways.

Yes. You could have a heart attack, stroke, and aneurysm at the same time. Pretty rare but anything is possible.

I'm certainly no expert, but I've heard that you can...one can causes the other. I don't see why it wouldn't...

-The loss of blood/blood-pressure to the brain causes it's 'malfunction'.
And---
-The loss of brain function because of the stroke causes severe stress--which can cause a heart attack.
(That's the way I see it)

In fact, taking low-strength (Enteric) Aspirin is a great way to save yourself from a heart attack, but it has been known to cause strokes too.
(Not really often though, so it's recommended that you take one or two to save your life from the heart attack--and since (as we just talked about) the heart attack itself can cause a stroke, anyway)

yes its possible ..because they have the same pathplogy which is atherosclerosis..so the trigering factor for heart attack is the same as that for stroke..
and i saw it more happening after disslving a clot in the coronaries...

It does not happen that often but is very possible. The clot that caused the heart attack can travel to the brain if it is not dissolved with thrombolitics.
