Is there any way that you can fix a tattoo that you already have and make it better? For example to fix a face?
thank you

The face of my fairy that I have on my back is something that I really hate... I don't know if the tattoo artist can fix this small area... But I am sure that the colours are easy to be changed...

I am sure a good tattoo artist can come up with suggestions. They can make a print of the tattoo there in the shop and overlay it on your skin as a trace for the outline. I am sure they can take a picture of what you have and work on an addition from there. I had a good size turtle on my shoulder and went back later for the addition of a sea scape around him..turned out great!

it depends on how big of a change you want...it may be too hard to fix something for many reasons, but a good artist might be able to do atleast something....but sometimes it can only screw it up more, there's no way to get a straight answer for that question on this forum, the only thing you can do is go to a tattoo shop, sorry that ya wasted your time with that here...

but just a hint of advice, if you werent happy with that artists work, i would not go back to get it fixed from the same one. there are many shops out there, find the one that's right for you..

I'm sure it can be fixed because tattoo artist have tan and white ink that they can use to cover up the bad area and make it look better. But you have to have a good tattoo artist, not someone new.

I agree with tatt brat...it's not always easy to just 'fix' an existing piece...especially with changing features such as a face.
A better option might be getting it covered up with some other custom work. Then having another fairy with proper facial features inked somewhere else.
(I'm in the same boat...my Tinkerbell's face looks shite! But I love Tink and if I get her covered so that particular ink looks better, I will have another Tink placed somewhere else on my body).

it depends on how big the fairy is. the bigger the better. but it also depends on the talent of the artist. things can definitely be fixed and changed for the better if you find the right person to do it.

Absolutely! Tattoo artists can do amazing things and touch-ups are common. Best bet is to ask your local tattoo artist to see what he recommends.

Of course, it depends. If the lines are heavy, which is often the case, it is really pretty impossible to do much to change the face.

Things cannot be changed as easy as one would think.
