Go to your local library and ask for a reverse directory. It should have the phone numbers in numerical order and the corresponding addresses. This only works for land line, not cell phones.

It's called a reverse directory. Yahoo has one. And then, the owner of the number comes up and you look up the name for the address.

There are a number of websites to help. Google "reverese phone search" or "directory assistance"- that should help. Also try using sites such as "anywho.com". Good Luck

but another number like *72 or *79 or *52
about 7 years ago this was advertised w/ your phone bill like when caller id was such a "new" thing .
Now so many pple use their cells as their only phone contact this system was forgotten...that's why I cant remember the digits.
