she's always been posessive of what she percieves as "her" toys, but before she got spayed, she'd share. now, if our other dog or our cats get near her when she's got something she's playing w/or eating, she snaps at them, no matter if they're actually trying to take it from her, or if they're just walking by her. what's wrong, and what can i do to fix it?she's 4, and she got spayed last week.

Roll up a newspaper and smack her and say NO when she does this. You have to stop it somewhere. Maybe if you keep this up she will get the message.

will she let you take the toys away from her? is so i would take them away and put them up for a while and just play with her with them on your terms. i would also tell her no when she growls at the other dogs. it could be because she was spayed i would giver her another week

sounds to me like she may be tender after her operation. remember, the vet opened her up for this. keep an eye on her (& on the other animals/humans in your home). but please! bear in mind, she does require patience at this time. vet visits & operations are traumatic to a greater or lesser degree (depending on the individual animal). i would still gently discourage such aggressive behaviour lest she develops the habit. good luck with it.

You need to get her some training and behavior modification.
