my dad fought along side gurkas, over this particular invasion.
& my cousin married a Greek Cypriot girl 2 save her from the storming Rape gangs.
not a very nice situation 4 all involved.

No but I,ll ask you a revelant question . Why did britain allow the so called Turkish invasion ? they were right there ,have two bases on Cyprus . Strange is, nt it , right there , part of the now border is the sba area , I know because I , a civilian , was there at that time , found the markers around ayios nikolaos , & painted them with white paint . Check out what was afoot in Greece at the time , junta take over of Government , aoka B , rising of ,or excuse of Grevas , aoka general . I hope you find this helps , Britain knew , & , basically allowed , the take over of northern Cyprus , ask yourself who cast the first stone , you,ll be on the right track .

that depends on whose "side" you're looking for. Its virtually impossible to find an unbiased website on this issue...I've looked for you. A few tips: if you see that Turkey "invaded" its biased and if you see something about the Greek "fanatics" its biased...and just about every site has one of those two words in it!! Maybe you can read both sides and form an opinion...but just don't get caught up in the propaganda! Good Luck!
