The spirit, the soul, lives on forever. Whether we occupying it at this stage will be aware of this the next time it moves into another being is questionable. Look at it this way, if the soul is invincible, that means that it has been around since time and is now occupying this body, yet we do not remember anything about that. So the next time around, why will be anymore aware?

I am an Ortodox Christian from Europe , and must say that God is The Holly Trinity , ( God The Father , God The Son of God -Jesus , and God The Holly Spirit )Jesus is the Eternal Son of God from Heaven , sent on The Earth , Jesus is having also a condition of God , but He is obeyed to God The Father , obviously , we all obey our parents and our parents are higher then us, cos we come from them etc ..
The soul is eternal , because is made by God , with something from the soul of God , that is why we are beings like God , talking , seeing , reasoning...
If we do good things we go to Heaven and live happy forever , with God.
If we reject God , we go to Hell , obviously , because we make people suffer rejecting God and sinning ...So that is why we must repent and ask forgiveness and follow the way of God.

No, only God is eternal and grants eternal life to those who will apreciate it because he wouldn't want to force people to live forever anyway. The soul is the mind, not an animating force. The animating force is the breath of life.

According to our bible as our basis in believing the existence of God and believing on the teachings of God, we are the living soul on earth. When we die, our body be return to dust where we came from and the spirit of that man who died will be under the care of God, and when judgment comes, you as a sinner will go to hell to suffer on fire while non sinners who believe in God will go to heaven with God for eternal life.
