Give me their address and I'll come and park my truck on theirs for you, seriously though i had the same problem my next door neighbours would often have 6 cars parked in front of my house leaving me parked 50 yards away ,i tried to tell them politely that i wanted to park outside my own house this worked for about a week then back to the same thing , i came home from work couldn't park and lost it big time with them ,they don't park there anymore now.

Well it depends, do you like your neighbors? Are they nice people? And do you have to deal with them in a regular basis?

I would just knock on their door and ask them nicely to park in their driveway. But if they aren't nice people and you have had problem with them before, then just call the cops and have their car towed.

Talk with them. Find out why they are parking there.

Don't go doing a severe thing such as calling the police or vengeful tricks. Maybe there's a simple explanation. (Possibly a former resident allowed them to or someone else on the block did and they got the wrong address.)
Who knows?
But give them the chance to explain their reasons for doing so.

They're your neighbors and life can be miserable for everyone involved if you approach the situation in the wrong way.

Your driveway on your property do you mean? If they are passing the boundary of your property tell them to piss off, if its an open driveway with no garden fence or wall detailling your boundary, then there's not a lot you can do as that could be classed as public parking

First check parking laws.

If it is your private paved drive, then almost invariably you can call the cops and have the car in or blocking your driveway towed.

You may need to post signs in order to be able to have the offending car(s) towed.

This assumes you do have the proper ownership of the parking spor to be able to claim it is yours.

If its just someone parking along the street in front of the house and they take the spot you want... that would be public property and you are out of luck. first come, first served.

Firstly ask them not to park there, secondly get in touch with the highways department it is illegal to block your entrance and exit.
If persist get in touch with the police and have them towed away.
If your neighbours are in council owned property notify the housing manager and tell him they are a nuisance neighbour and he will have to inform them not to park there anymore and if they persist they are in breach of their tenancy agreement

I have the same problem, i just park about 2" from the back of there cars so they cant get out, this means they have to come to your door and ask you to move, then you can bring up about them parking in ur drive and maybe it will stop, it worked for me. Hope it works for you, i no it is annoying but if you dont bring it up you cant sort it out. Hope this has helped.

Simple - put gates at the end of the drive. Chain the gates together, put a padlock through the chain and run off with the key. May have even more effect if you do this when their car is on the drive!!!!!

if you live in a house and they park on your drive phone the police if you have asked them to move it and they dont. If you live in a flat then check the parking rules and make sure you are right before you go and have a word with them. Once you know you are 100% right then talk to them and if they still do it the ring the police as you have rights too.
Good luck
