This is incredible! I was locking up the school chapel at night and the school master George Howsons who is interred outside in the chapel garden, I swear he appeared momentarily and looked at me. What the hell happened?

Britain is a very overcrowded place and is I believe one of the most haunted countries in the world. What you have seen is just an imprint on time, bit like a video replay. Do not be afraid, the dead don't hurt you only the living.

It was just a devil . In Hamlet by William Shakespeare , a ghosts apears - his father telling him something ...and he wants to find out if the ghost is the devil or his real father who died..But I know from Ortodox Christian Theology (I am ortodox from Europe )- I know that only the devil can appear , and to some who love God and are a kind of saints - angels can appear or saits, or even Jesus Christ .
Ghosts could look like a real person or a transparent (I heard )body or so ..But this are only drawings made by devils ...
In heaven we have a body somehow like the body of God, more beautiful then this body .. and we shall wear fine clothes with precious stones (I read this in a book about the life of a saint ).

Possible explanation is what parapsychologists call "Replay apparition". Subject to the correct climate, mineral and electrical conditions of your surroundings, it is possible in theory you witnessed a replay of the old fella doing what he did in life. The combination of elements can act like a kind of video tape, storing static electrical impulse from the body or aura of a person in to it and replaying it when similar conditions occur.
If he did acknowledge you, then that is called "interactive apparition" and means he appeared specifically to contact you...... Your homework isn't late is it???

You had an experience that your brain has translated as a `Ghost`. You were alone? You were locking up a Church after dark? No witnesses? When it occurs in daylight, with a crowd of sceptics carrying cameras let us know!
