The slopes are the two different filaments' resistances.

The curvatures (2nd derivatives) are the two different changes of the two resistances with load current.

The V-I characteristics can tell you how much current you will get for an applied voltage. This can tell you if a circuit with that lamp will overload on inrush current, or, for example, what type of material is used in the filament or surrounding gas.
