I would like to share information about Bangladesh only, as follows:

1. Rickshaws plying on the road side-by-side with modern and some not-so-aesthetic (artistic, tasteful) looking transports.

2. Boats of various kind and types plying in canals, rivers and some coasts along Bay-of-Bengal.

3. Ladies wearing colorful Saris and matching attires and ornaments, particularly on important occasions like weddings and cultural and religious festivals.

B. Landmarks to see in Bangladesh:

1. Airports: Airports in Bangladesh, Barisal Airport, Shah Amanat International Airport, Zia International Airport

2. Bridges: Hardinge Bridge, Jamuna Bridge, Lalon Shah Bridge

3. Buildings: Jatiyo Sangshad Bhaban, Ahsan Manzil, Dhaka Central Jail, Hoseni Dalan, Curzon Hall, Lal Bagh Fort, Bashundhara City

4. Monuments: Jatiyo Smriti Soudho, Martyred Intellectuals Memorial, Shaheed Minar

5. Mosques: Baitul Mukarram, Binat Bibi mosque, Sixty Pillar Mosque, Star Mosque

6. Museums: Bangladesh National Museum, Varendra Research Museum

7. Sculptures: Aparajeyo Bangla, Shabash Bangladesh, Shapla Square, Shoparjito Shadhinota

9. Temples: Dhakeshwari Temple, Kantaji Temple, Ramna Kali Mandir, Sompur Bihara, Temple of King Kangsa Narayan

C. Animals to see in Bangladesh:

The Tigers in Bangladesh have black stripe on their body. Worldwide known as Royal Bengal Tiger, it is also the national animal of Bangladesh. This majestic beast finds its home in mangrove forests of the Sundarbans in the South-Western part of the country.

By the way, the following may be of interest to you too:

1. The National Emblem of the People's Republic of Bangladesh is the national flower Shapla (water Lily) surrounded by two sheaves of rice, four stars and a bud with three tender leaves.

2. The Water Lily (Shapla) is the national flower of Bangladesh. It is found almost in every water body in the country.

3. The Doel (magpie robin) is the national bird of Bangladesh. It is famous for its sweet look and melodious whistle and is found everywhere especially in rural Bangladesh.

4. The Jackfruit [Kathal] is our national fruit. Thorny in outlook this fruit is big in size. The fruit is juicy and delicious. It is also widely consumed as curry.

5. The National Monument reminds of those who sacrificed their lives for the independence. Situated at Savar near Dhaka, it is a tourist spot. And, last but not the least,

6. Shaheed Minar (Martyrs Memorial): It has always been the source of our national inspiration. We come here to commemorate Language Martyrs of 1952 (21st February has now been recognized by the UN as Int'l Mother Language day).

Welcome and have a nice tour of my country Bangladesh!!
