I get your point, but I don't think so. Everything is too well documented today. The early Christians relied on the "fuzzy" nature of the world 2,000 years ago to promote Jesus as something he wasn't.

Yes.

Remember that many people were claiming to be the "son of God" 2 thousand years ago, Jesus is just the one who won the game.

My guess is that in 2 thousand years we will have cured all forms of madness, and trains will have become ancient history.

Only if he turns the entire world on its head in less than 300 years, like Jesus of Nazareth did for the Roman Empire.

Nah, in two thousand years you will be more than likely dead... If you hear a crazy person saying he is Jesus then you might be in hell. (Assuming there is a hell)

The bible says

"So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man"

He wont be on your train. You will know when he comes.

Edit: your planning on living 2000 more years? Will they still have trains, do you think?

Well, he's due anytime now. There's so many crazies that even if there is a real one and he should turn up, no-one will believe him anyway.
He won't prove it - I hear he doesn't like having to show off like that - so he'll be ignored and we can all carry on.

If you are around in 2000 years, that will be the time to consider that seriously! :)
