According to the bible, Jesus had no children and was not married.
The Da Vinci Code is alot more convincing. The man that wrote it must be a certified genius to have put it all together. Its mindboggling in complexity and it seems so real.
However.... the Da Vinci Code is likely only entertainment. Even if it makes alot more sense. Especially given that it shows that Jesus was just a man, not the son of a god.
The Council of Naesia (sp? Sorry if I screwed up the spelling. Its 5 am and its been a long long graveyard shift on a very busy weekend. I feel like my brain is going to explode so the last thing I'm concerned about is my spelling) really did decide what the movie claims.

The Da Vinci Code is not a true story. It is also put under the fiction in the libraries. Some parts in the Da Vinci Code is completely wrong and fictional.
All of us are the children of God. We were born again on the day when we accepted Him into our lives, and from that day onwards, we are the children of God. And well, the story in the da vinci code about Jesus having a child with the chalice, is completely WRONG!! So, well~ The children of God is all of us, those who had accepted Him into our lives.

The Da Vinci Code is fiction. It is fiction, and is marketed as fiction. That is why, in your local bookstore, you will find it under "fiction." Jesus did not have any children. If Dan brown knew for sure that the dynasty of Jesus was still continuing, wouldnt he know through whom it was continuing? All that is in the Da Vinci Code is according to Dan browns immagination. That is like if I said,"According to J R Tolken, Hobbits live in middle earth"

Child! It is evident to me that you have absolutely no idea who Jesus is! Dan Brown? The Da Vinci Code? Jesus is pure. He is white as the driven snow! We are all children of God. But as far as Jesus having any offspring....this is absurd! Read your Bible and go to church, my child. The dynasty of Jesus continuing? In the Book of Revelation in the Bible, which is the last chapter in God's Words, He says; "I am the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. I am what is and what shall come, The Almighty!" Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He was born of the Virgin Mary and He was raised by Mary and her husband Joseph. They were very poor. Joseph was a carpenter. Jesus was born by immaculate conception. Meaning that God planted the seed in her womb. She was pure and untouched by her husband. God gave us the perfect gift for sacrifice when He gave us His Son. When I say sacrifice, in the Old Testement of the Bible, which is the beginning of the Bible, the way the people asked for forgiveness was to give a burnt offering such as a lamb to God to cleanse them of their sins. When Jesus gave His life it was to cleanse us of our sins when we ask for forgiveness through our prayers. Jesus is the perfect Lamb. And His blood cleanses our souls. The Lamb of God. The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit of God are all in the God Head and are all One. No one can ever claim to be the offspring of Jesus because there are no offspring. It is hard to understand and you have to read the Bible to even get a meaning to what I am saying , but the most important thing you will ever learn in this life is to find Jesus and find Him now. For the end is drawing near. He will come like a thief in the night. No one knows the exact day or the exact time. I know this is a long and drawn out answer and one that you probably do not care to hear. But, I am doing my works for The Lord by telling you this. There is no continuing dynasty. He is on this earth. He is with you in everything you do. I am the Way, The Truth and The Life and no man cometh unto the Father Except by Me. Saith The Lord. In everything you ask for when you pray to God, you ask for it in Jesus Name. Don't listen to everything you hear. If you have a question ask God. Your answer will be found in the Bible. The only Book that never changes. It will always be the same and in God's own words.

Dan Brown is lyeing, the da vinci code is also a lie, Jesus asked in John 8 it reads this: 8:45 And because I tell [you] the truth, ye believe me not.
8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear [them] not, because ye are not of God.

The Da Vince Code is a noble story came from the mind of the author, Dan Brown. It is an imagination from him to attract supposed readers of his story and to encourage more people in buying the said book. That is business.You should be matured enough to understand and analyze what is true or not.

Did you read the book/watch the movie?
They both explain why no one WOULD claim to be Jesus's offspring.
I'm not saying the theory is or isn't true, it was fiction after all. But your question makes no sense if you've read the book or watched the movie.

I have never seen any report of anyone ever claiming to be a descendant of Christ. And I have read so many books in my studies, that I could not count them all. They have claimed to be HIM, Adam, Moses, etc, but never a descendant. WHY? Because being a descendant is an inferior manifestation than Christ or the Prophets.
