Recently my girlfriend has asked me to invite her to a dinner invitation that my ex-girlfriend and me attend once in a while to chit-chat. The problem is that my ex-girlfriend is more attractive than my girlfriend. What should I do? I am not as embarrass to be with her alone but I am when it comes to introducing her to my ex.

Your ex is your ex and there is probably a reason for it. Show respect for your current girlfriend and go. Be a complete gentleman and give her plenty of attention. You do not owe your ex anything. Chances are she will not be there alone.
Here's the introduction:
Hello Name of ex, this is (name), my girlfriend.
Girlfriend, meet (name) NOT ex.
Then have some chitchat conversation and walk away. It may help to call your ex if you are on speaking terms and tell her about the awkward situation. If you are still on speaking terms and she is mature, ask her not to bring it up.

Well first that s mean! "my ex-girlfriend is more attractive than my girlfriend" For you your girlfriend should be the most attractive girl! remember this!
Then when it comes to ex gf its difficult for every women, but its easy to solve. Just show her gf that she is your number one and give her a lot of attention and compliment her so she dont get sad about your "pretty" exgf. When your ex want to talk to you and your gf is near make sure that you say to your ex something nice about your gf. tell her that your gf is really good at... or a story of you two... make your also pretty gf feeling comfortable with the situation

Look, if there is no funny business going on, then ask your girlfriend. What the hassle? Doesnt matter how attractive or not anyone is. You know who your girlfriend is, now act like a boyfriend and take her out. If she knows you catch up with your ex its probably her way of telling you that she doesnt like it. Would you if the shoe were on the other foot?

No woman deserves a man who thinks like that about her.
You won't choose my answer for the best one I think, because you don't want people to tell you how bad you are for thinking like this, but I am definitely telling the truth.
I can't see that you love your new girlfriend. It's probably time to break up with her and attend that dinner alone - wouldn't that give a good impression on your ex?

lol. Just be confident. I should knock your ex-girlfriend down to size some. Specially if she has an ego. I'm sure your new girlfriend is attractive, since you ARE dating her. So, have fun with it. It will make the ex even more jealous, just to see you happy.

Not a good idea all around.
If you have to go through with it though, invite other people so that it's not just the three of you. Looks aside, it will make everyone more comfortable.

Splitting up isn't basic whether it is super to have your ex wanting you returned. once you have been going out, did she ever say "i will by no skill end loving you" or "i prefer to stay with you invariably and continuously will"? properly, they certainly will in case you carry on with those steps

We never want our exes to think that we aren't doing as well as we were when we were with them, but if you care about this new girl then your great relationship should be enough. If it isn't then maybe you shouldn't be with her.
