I've been thinking about getting my clit pierced. I'm not fully sure yet though because I'm kinda scared lol. I hear stories about how much of a risk it is. I was wondering if anyone who has one can tell me any I need to know about it? How bad does it hurt? How long does it take to heal? How do you take care of it? How much of a risk it it or is it just as much of taking a chance as any piercing? Because I heard if they mess up you can loose all feeling in your clit. How uncomfortable is it when your lying there getting it pierced?

P.S I know some people might respond saying "it's slutty, don't do it"....I just wanted to say, I'm not gonna go around bragging saying "Oh look I have my clit pierced!" lol. I'm a very private person so no one will even know I have it except maybe close friends.

What's the difference between all the different ways you can get it done? Which one it the most recommended?

i suggest getting hood piercing. you get most of the pleasure and beauty with none of the risk. you can get vertical or horizontal... it depends on how yours is shaped... we're all different. you want to have the ball of the ring rest on the tip of your clit. i have a vertical with a curved barbell. it provides constant stimulation during sex, but i don't notice it any other time (...well, sometimes when i'm working out, or wearing tight jeans). the actual piercing was quick and easy, and took no time at all, to heal. just keep it clean with antibacterial hand soap.

See a good certified piercer. There are 2 types of clit piercings--One the hood is pierced the other the actual clit. With the second one, you can lose all feeling there. It will hurt because it's all nerves down there. It may take more than a year to completely heal.

Other than teh fact that there is great risk 1 for infection and 2 for loosing all feeling It hurts very badly and takes months almost a year to heal.
The facts that people dont tell you about clit piercings are that 1 you will have a continuous odor in your genital area due to the fact that it causes constant stimulation and is very hard to keep clean therefore making it prone to infection and you wont be able to have sex for 6 months to a year safely otherwise you risk infection , tearing it out and extreem pain.
You will also no matter how it is pierced loose most to all sensation after a year to two of it being pierced.

There are way too many options to give you a good answer on this one. Basically, most 'private' piercings carry the same risks as regular piercings. Most of the 'you will lose feeling' stuff is rumor. Most heal fairly quickly, because there is a lot of blood flow to the area and the tissues are rather forgiving. Pain is relative, some say it hurts a lot, others barely felt it.

Your best bet would be to visit www.bmezine.com where you can find out what types of piercings are available and read experiences from people who have them done.

forget what everyone says..im about to go get it done once i can find a piercing place that does it around my way..but let me just say,do not get your clit pierced..you COULD lose all feeling..so whats ALOT cuter and dosent hurt as much is getting your 'clitoral hood' pierced..vertical..i think..it's really cute and everyone says it dosent even hurt as bad as an ear piercing since there's virtually no skin down there..trust me, if you're clit loses all feeling because of getting it pierced..you'll regret it..so look into the hood piercing..alot cuter hun..good luck :-)

although everyone has their own opinion, i have the hood of my clit peirced and it is very pleasurable. it heals quickly as long as you take care of it. you wash like normal with antibacterial soap. you cant change the earring for 6 months. you dont loose feeling if you peirce the hood, the metal ball on the bottom sits right on your actual clit. one thing that is annoying tho is that your always wet down there. if you are grown and sexually active i would suggest gettin it.. but if you are under age tryin to experiment..DONT DO IT, the place that peirces it can get into big trouble if they get caught

ok i have my tragus lip tongue wrist nipple navel and clit pierced. i like my clit piercing, it makes sex feel better from my experience and drove my boyfriend wild. i didnt find it too sore, its like a sharp scrath that lasts 2-3 seconds. however just after it does bleed quite a bit so make sure the place you get it done is clean. a genital piercing is one of the quickest to heal as it is away from the open air, just make sure you clean it every day and avoid sex for 4-7 days and for the week after that use a condom to minimise the transfer of bacteria. all in mine took about 3-4 weeks to heal. think about it carefully before you get it done too

well it seems very sexy. and nothing else. think twice honey. Just imagine the pain that your going to undergo while having it pierced and after. do you think having it worth the pain. nobody can see it except for you and your partner. have your clit pierced if you think you can show it off...

Also I met a girl at a party she had hers done that morning and was partying that night... NOT THAT ITS RECOMENDED lol

I really don't know why you would want to pierce your clit, seems to me it isn't as private as you say, seeing you are here asking questions. Yes, it hurts, whoever does it needs to be a professional not just some piercing place. You will be uncomfortable for a couple of months.
