Has anyone else had post-concussive syndrome?

I got whacked round the back of the head in June and have had migraines practically every day since. It got so bad at times that I ended up passing out in the street so I pleaded with my doctor and evetually got codeine for it, which really helps but I never feel 100% ok.

I read on a health website that if the PCS continues for more than 6 months then you will probably suffer from it for life. I'm so worried now. Anyone else had it for over 6 months? Did it go away? I'd ask my doc but quite frankly he's shite.

I had it for a year . but i no longer need to take painkillers.my gp wasnt very helpful either.
