I just downloaded Firefox! Whenever I try to login to websites, a warning comes on screen " The Information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and can be easily read by third parties"

No such warning comes from the IE browser. What can I do?

Just click the box, or unclick the box to tell it not to come up next time. There is a check mark in the lower left hand corner of the message to stop this message. The first couple of times your used explorer you should have got the same message. You just have to tell the message to leave you alone.

This is not an an indication that firefox is any less secure than explorer. Most everything I have read has suggested that Firefox is the more secure of the browsers..... So relax, enjoy, and tell that pesky message to leave you alone.

I have the same browser and its confusing at first, however, there is a box to check and once you check that box it will not happen again. Read the information about Firefox and they address that exact problem you are having. Firefox once you get used to it is a great browser.

If you want you can see this message in IE also. Reset prompts in Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Restore Defaults.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Default Level (for the zone)

IE does the same thing, it's just been so long since you have seen that warning on your Dell that you forgot all about it.

there should be something you can change in the settings for security. and there should be a box that you can check to stop it when it pops up.

mainly try looking through the security settings.
