Is half a grapefruit and two weetbix (http://www.weetbix.com.au/ if you don't know what they are) a good breakfast? Yes or no and why or why not? Thanks!

Is it also a good idea to have juice of half a lemon in water? Does that really kick start your metabolism?

All excellent ideas!!!! But what do you eat halfway through the morning surely that isn't sufficient food to get you until lunch time? Some citrus fruits, melon or grapes until lunch time? Warm water first thing in the morning(no not tea), will help with yor bowels.

Sounds kind of skimpy to me. Down south, it's a true southern breakfast w/eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, sliced tomatos or melon & of course biscuits & gravy. Start the day off right!!

I hate weetabix but yes, that's a good breakfast, now add some orange juice and it will be perfect.

Yes, it sure is. You got complex and simple carbs. Just add some more protein (like an egg) and you are set!

Fruit and starch/carbs. I would add in a milk or meat also. Just to balance it out.
