Stand back to back to a chair.

Extend your hands backward and hold the top of the backrest of the chair.

Lower your body slowly by dropping your knees and bending your elbows.

When your shoulder and your elbows come in line with each other stop and stay in that position for atleast 30 to 45 seconds.

If you are doing the exercise correctly you will be feeling a stretch in your back and shoulders.

Repeat atleast 10 times a day. should practice daily for atleast a month. You can experience some difference within a week if you are performing the exercise correctly.

Dont do any jerky movements.

You should not open your elbows wider than your shoulder width while bending.

Pls see a dr to have this checked out b/c the possibilities range anywhere from carpal tunnel to stroke as some posters said or a pinched nerve like my mom has on the one side of her neck (left to be exact).

What age are you?
It may happen that you wrote too much on computer or buy hand yesterday, you did activity that required hand skills.
Or you overslept on your left hand.
If it's none of these, and it doesn't go out by a massage or a cold/hot shower then you should consult a doctor.

How old are you?
That's usually a warning of a stroke about to happen. Or maybe you watched an entire movie resting on that side of your body

These are definite signs of a stroke. Get to the emergency room now. Better to wait at the emergency room than to be dead.

*They can only stop or reverse the effects of a stroke within the first four hours of the onset of one.*
