Are the inexpensive complete sets like the Tiger Shark, Affinity, Ram, etc., any good? Another question is, I'm 6'3" or 6' 3 1/2". Do I need "tall" clubs and what's the right tall size for me? Or are the tall size just for really tall men like 6'6" or 6'8"?

Henery Grifits has the best fitting system bar none. Contact them to find a Pro near you to get fitted. It will be the best investment you can make for your game. Also they are priced fair.

As a rule, inexpensive clubs are "cheap" clubs and will lead to frustration. The better alternative is to find good quality clubs at a lower price. Many times, you can find last year's models at greatly reduced prices. I suggest Rock Bottom Golf.

Regarding club length, this is determined, not by your height, but by the distance from your wrist to the floor, so it really has a much to due with your arm length as it does your height. I've provided some links below to help out.

ram isn't too bad of a set, you may want to go to a local golfsmith or golf galaxy and try out various brands to see what best suits you, don't be affriad to ask questions, and you are always beter off getting properly fitted to your clubs. Hope this helps...

Dont purchase any of those manufacturers. you are able to pass out and purchase some Taylor Made RAC OS2 irons. they are an spectacular set to start up with and are interior of your funds. All golf equipment are made the right comparable length, loft, etc. till you get them equipped. i'm the comparable height as you and my golf equipment at the instant are not suited for me. i replaced into instructed via a PGA expert till I start up getting quite severe with golfing (IE: college or bigger) , its not quite quite worth the money to get my golf equipment equipped.
