HUNGER will motivate anyone. When the Stomach starts a lawsuit against the Backbone, I guarantee someone will find someway to make some money for food., unless they have someone who feeds them and gives them everything they WANT, not need.

Cure for laziness? Yours or someone else's?
If someone else, remove the payoff from it... it's working for them... so enlarge existing repercussions by steadily raising misery... removing what they like, steadily eliminating the benefits they believe they get out of it... until laziness isn't worth it to them any more.

If it is yours... make a list on paper, divide it in half. List the benefits you see in being lazy. Think hard, write it all down. Now list the benefits you see in being productive and active. Again, think hard, give good effort to both sides, be fair and honest.

Now, see which side the bread is really buttered on. Think about life -how it would be- if you had all those benefits working for you- as an active, industrious, respected, useful person. Get happy about it. Visualize it... plan it... do it.

Hope that helps. :)

Nope, you just have to get out of your chair and do something. It's contagious, by the way.....the more you do the more you will find sitting in your chair is boring. Meeting new people, going to new places is fascinating, something your TV or computer screen cant' show you.......

If its you thats asking about yourself then you need to motivate yourself, I believe most people have to.. The fact that your asking suggests that you are and want to do something about it and thats a good start..I suggest when you start something like exercise you must start slowly, never rush in head first ..Baby steps first..

Yes in fact there is! You just don't do anything for the person who is lazy and they will have to learn how to do things themselves!
