Hi, I am a health concious girl, and am dining out w/ family at lunch. We are going to an ASK Restaurant. They are going to choose garlic bread and ciabatta for starters. Does anyone know of any healthier starter options on the menu? Thanks.

Brushetta is good, its 2 slices of toasted ciabatta bread topped with chopped tomatoes, onion and herbs, drizzled with olive oil. You can always ask to omit the oil, although its a small amount.

Salad is good, (Insalata).

Caesar Salad, is obviously, a salad, but caesar dressing is rich and creamy, and not waist-forgiving.

Marinated olives are good for you, and contain healthy oils. Its part of a good healthy mediterranean diet.

Soup of day may be a good option too.

Have a nice time!
