Essentially this means:

Don't hope that you'll only ever have to do things that are easy for you. Rather, hope that you are able to do whatever it is you have to do.

Or, don't go through life, only doing things you've done before, just because you know you can handle it. Instead, you should tackle every problem that comes your way, and just hope that your inherent physical prowess and natural thinking capability can see you through it, whatever IT may be...

The way i would see it is that you have the ability to do the tasks,it may not be as others but you can achieve it if you believe in it.

Everyone can do things but how about trying things which may challange you in anyways possible which is good, than you have aquired a new skill of which you could be proud of.

It means that you should put for the the effort required to meet your obligations.

Don't ask that your burden be removed, ask for the strength to support it.

Don't ask for an easier assignment, ask for the courage and wisdom to complete the assignment you have.

If you ask for the lesser task, you aren't growing. You are hiding from growth.

It means to improve the abilities you need to do what you need to do, not to wish for easier more manageable tasks.

If you think about it, if everyone got what jobs they asked for, they might not dare to change what's wrong in the world. They would become complacent.

Does this make any sense? I'm thinking you always must improve, or you wll decay.

Don't ask for life to always be easy.
Ask for help to handle what life brings to you.
In other words, we don't need to stay at the same level
forever; we need to advance.

Don't settle for what you are able to do, seek the challenge to improve yourself by handling something bigger and newer.

The point is self improvement over complacency.
