Vegas has tons of places where couples can get married at. But first, couple must get a license from the courthouse which is a few miles from the strip. There, group of people in the "wedding business" flock you to offer their services as far as limo's, chapel's and wedding packages for their chapels is concern. All is legit, but when I got married there, we went ahead and did our own research rather than dealing business with them. There are those "drive thru" chapels, costume chapels i.e. dude in an elvis outfit, and there are also those few semi and very classy chapels around town and in hotels and casinos which in part are a little too costly. Want it memorable? It's all about the Vegas Experience!!

Yup, I was married at the Monte Carlo, $700 including the room and a bottle of cheap champagne. You have to get the license at the courthouse but its very cheap and quick and then you can get married wherever you like in an official capacity.

Sucked. When you go to the chapel, they actually can't marry you. You have to go to the town hall (the one in vegas is 24 hours (I think), but the ones in other cities close earlier.)

You then wait in line and are married there in the hallway. Then you go to one of the chapels for a crappy service, where they overcharge you for nothing.
