It's really hard to compare your size to your friends based on the fact that you are such different heights. You may find you are above average weight for your age group. But remember, it depends on your body composition. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you have alot of muscle, you will weigh more than your friends and other kids in your age group, but not necessarily be overweight. I know this is confusing and it may be hard to understand at your age. I found a really good website that you should have a look at. It is www.bmi-calculator.net This has a few different calculators on it that you can check out. Each calculator tells you what it is used for and info for how you can use it to improve your health. Good luck!!

hi there ur weight is fine hun. Don't pressure urself into losing weight there is a lot of pressure at the mo to be a size zero, which in my apinion is disgraceful. Models r now dying because they have to meeet this criteria. Curvy and voluptious women r more beautiful than stick thin ones just ask any guy. Hope this helps

The only true way of determining whether you're overweight is to be connected to a machine which measures percentage body fat.

Bodybuilders can put on a lot of weight in the form of muscle, and according to the Body Mass Index charts - they are obese. In reality, a lot of their weight consists of muscle - which is obviously more healthy than fat.

sounds absolutely fine to me chick. Don't worry about things like that at your age, you have a lot of growing and developing to do yet, everything could change it the next couple of years.

Hi Steph,

Only listen to your Doctor about this, this is the way eating disorders can start.

Dont worry about your height as alot of women/firls are only 5.2 - 5.5.

You are fine, your are healthy have a look on the website i found. You are too young to be worring about this.

No

But if you have any concerns, discuss them with your parents or a doctor, these are people who can give you good advice and put your mind at ease.

Not your school friends

I think your about right for your age, considering adult weight for your hieght is 8.5-10.5stone.
So I wouldn't worry about your weight at all, I would say you are just about right.
