Only if you are for sure about you two. Don't share things unless you are sure it will go no further. A partner is a here and now, if it does not work out, all the personal feeling and dreams you shared with are now public property. You do the math. You decide if others can know and what not. If this person is a life partner with ALL that includes ("To love, honor and respect till death do us part") Tell him/her, go for it. Just remember.....
Trust is Love and Love is Trust, with out one the other will not work.

if you feel that you can trust them enough to express such intimate things that mean something to you, then yes. but it's more like a connection thing with the sharing. i suppose being in sync is the word i'm looking for. it also depends the temperment of the partner. if they aren't as open to sharing their dreams and feelings, then maybe their reaction to your sharing wont be the same.
