Hi! I know how you feel because I have them too. Sucks, doesn't it! ARGH! When I see people with perfectly smooth skin, it really hurts inside. Anyway, before I get myself depressed... in my studies of this subject there are several methods used. One is dermal planing, where they actually shave off the surface of your skin. Very messy and bloody and aggressive procedure. The next is dermabrasion where the doctor uses a rotary wheel that abrades your skin to literally "sand off" the scars. Not as nasty as dermal planing, but still aggressive. Next is laser resurfacing. Just like it sounds. Using a laser to reduce scar appearance. There are a few others... and you will get great info right here: http://www.acne.org/scars.php Plus, this also tells you how effective each is. Sometimes a combination is needed. Forget all the crap you see online offering miracles, e.g. lotions, etc. Scars need aggressive treatment. One dermatologist--a very well-known man in his field--who was MY doctor (he invented a product call NeoStrata)--told me, "Every guy should have a few scars... gives him character." Well, I don't know if you're a man or woman (I didnt notice your screen name), but why don't you go to a respected dermatologist for a consultation? Your scars might not be a big deal to lessen! Some people have them ALL OVER their face. If yours are just on your nose, they might be more readily treatable! Good luck my friend. Oh, yes... do what I do instead of getting depressed... TAKE ACTION! It helps.

You could try using Vitamin E oil or Mederma (a special product for helping with scars such as surgical scars but can be used for something like this too). There is a generic version of this product you can try.

I also found that taking a multivitamin helped my skin so that I wouldn't have continuous problems with acne.

Also talk to your dr about this to see if they have some additional ideas that might be of help and pls talk to your mom about this as well or a trusted adult friend if you can't do that.

I hope that this helps hun.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

you will have to ask your parents to take you to the doctor. you will most likely have to do a laser resurfacing of some sort, but you shoudl do it. if your parents cant afford it (it probably costs around a thousand dollars)... then ask someone else, a family member or something. that's the only way it's gonna get better. if not, wait til your 18- get a credit card (and a job) and finance it on your own. your skin is very important and will improve your self esteem alot!in the meantime wear mascara, blush and lip gloss to off set it, and brighten your face :)

Based on my experience, there is an oitment for scar removal or improving scars. The name of the medicine is CONTRATUBEX GEL 10g. by Merz Pharma GmbH & Co in Frankfurt, Germany. This gel is available over-the-counter in Watson's, your personal drugstores in Hong Kong, Manila, etc. You have to use this in the long term. It is an anti-cicatricial and anti-inflammatory for all kinds of long scars including chicken pox scars.

hey there.
It really does suck. I am the same way. I have avoided many oportunities with friends because of how my face looks sometimes. And it really f#@#s with your childhood.
All I can do is sympthize. And tell you...
VITAMIN E! will help very much.
It is really not cool if they are making fun of you, and you sould tell them. 10 bucks says its your 'friends' too?
Dont worry, you will get out of there, and life continues. this will all pass.
Take care and stay strong, im with ya

the absolute worst thing for your face is to pop your pimples.

unless they are oozing puss, leave them alone. i squeeze my pimples and it makes scabs, scars, redness, and it makes my acne worse. squeezing zits is a bad habit like chewing your nails. i have tried to leave my face alone and not pop my zits and it works; no redness, scabs, and it seems like it helps clear my face.

try it, it may work.
