The only real way to keep Mexicans from coming to America to look for work (or other economic benefits) is to improve the economy of Mexico.
If they had jobs and health care and education in Mexico, there would be no need to try and sneak across the boarder looking for these things. I can understand why some American's are so hostile toward the idea of immigrants - especially illegal immigrants, but put yourself in their shoes. To what lengths would you go to provide for your family.
I'm not really sure what the US can do to help Mexico's economy. But until the standard of living in Mexico improves, you can't really expect the flood of immigrants to stop.
Hey Dizney, I didn't say it was our job to fix Mexico. However, you will never stop the flow by trying to stop people from hiring them. You have to stop the demand. Furthermore, our economy is dependent - at least to an extent - on foreign labor. If you really want to stop people from hiring illegals, why don't you take a job picking fruit or washing dishes so they don't have to hire Mexicans. Simple fact is many of the Mexicans are filling jobs Americans won't do or won't do for the wages being paid.

Stop giving them ways to earn money. No more jobs for them by law. If a person in the USA breaks the law and gives an illegal Mexican a job then the American goes to jail and pays a fine. This will dry up the migration rather quickly since the illegals will not have any money to live on. No hospitalization. No food. No driver's licenses. Go back to Mexico.

The only way is to stop giving welfare, free medical, and prosecute anyone who hires them. Start a guest worker program so all workers we need can come and work legally.
You must realize they have nothing to lose by coming now, except money they pay to Coyote's. In their country they have no welfare, no free medical, and no job. Their government is so screwed up, they also have no hope for the future.

If we enforce the laws that put employers in jail for hiring these illegal alien criminals the job market will dry up and they will go home.
ICE knows where the day laborers beg for jobs - go after them. Daily raids! It is so dumb. The government know were to find these criminals they just sit on their a**.
Hey "Justin," it isn't OUR job to fix Mexico. Besides, if we fixed it, since they don't care, they would break it again.
