unless its a miele, you can't!!!!!

the door lock is there to stop any young person putting there hands and fingers in whilst spinning, also to stop you flooding the floor.

It is possible, I remember my dad did it to our washer because the door lock got stuck. I'm pretty sure he just broke it though, are you willing to brake the lock? Thats the only way to bypass it.
