well thats not ENTIRELY accurate JP, but its not entirely wrong either...
EVERYONE goes to Gahenna for at least a little bit. its more like some aspects of christianity's purgatory, than any sense of "hell" its only a temporary thing, even for the worst. (well, some might de-exist if they are really really really really bad and don't even want to be better, but thats the exception)
basically judaism does not dogmatize as to what happens after death. its not its purpose. its a religion, not a spirituality.
some jews believe you simply "sleep" until the messianic age, some believe in a generic "heaven" and some even belive in reincarnation. (which, is while not preached, within the realm of possibility by Jewish concepts.)
in fact much of Kabbalah, has Reincarnation as simply a given.
but there is definitely no eternal hell in Judaism.

If you study Kabbalah, you find that there is a belief that after death, there is not a necessary continuation of Self. This is because the energy that we are composed of moves higher and higher up, eventually returning to the Source, which is YHVH. In this process of migration, the energy might join with other energies or split into disparate energies.
In short, yes, your energy along with everything else's energy eventually makes it back to YHVH, but by the time it does, the only Self that will remain will be YHVH's own, and even that will fade back into Ayin (the nothingness so utterly nothing that to say, 'it is nothing' is to define it and make it no longer Ayin).

Grace B. Gehenna is not hell.
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.
Hades = hell
Lake of Fire= Gehenna
Hades/Hell is to be cast into the lake of Fire/Gehenna.
They are not the same thing.

it is somewhat true
in judaism, jews are supposed to do "mitzvot" which are good deeds (there are 613 of them!) that god wanted the people to do.
it is said that when a person dies, if they have not completed all of the "mitzvot", their soul stays on earth until it eventually completes all of the mitzvot. when all are completed, the soul leaves the earth.
hope this helps!

Jesus Christ was Jewish and he talked about Heaven and Hell all the time, especially Hell.
In the Old Testament the Godly went to Abraham's bosom and the ungodly went to Gehenna (Hell).
Read the Bible. Therein you will find the answers.
