Is it too hard to understand that God can come in 3 forms. God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? That God has the power to do this. It isn't hard for me. Jesus teaches the trinity in John 14:16-17. The comforter is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth.

Jesus Christ is the son of the Most Holy Father Jehovah. read ps 83 verse 18. it is also in the king james bible. Jehovah is the Father and Jesus Christ is the son, the Holy Spirit is Jehovah's active Force. when Jesus was on earth, he prayed to his Father Jehovah in the Heaven. yes he said you seen me you seen the Father, he was with Jehovah from the beginning and he knows his Father real well. they are not the same. even the devil knows that Jesus Christ is not Jehovah God. when Jesus Christ was baptized, Jehovah came down like a dove and said this is my son the beloved, so they are not the same

OK here's how I understand it. It's part of the Holy Trinity concept - 3 persons in one God.
God the Father, is the intellect of God - the part that plans things
God the Son, is God's love for us embodied by Jesus
The Holy Spirit is God's Wisdom and Understanding -- that part of God that inspires us.
But all 3 personas still only make up 1 God.
Just like every human has different sides -- the part that plans for the future and goes to work every day, the emotional part that loves family and friends and the "inspirational" part that is creative or admires creativity or that can take an "intuitive" leap.
Hope that's helpful.

Be careful: lumping all Christians together in one belief isn't very wise. I'm a Christian, but I also know that the belief in the Trinity is not a Bible based teaching and that Jesus Christ is God's Son, and that God's personal name is Jehovah. Don't believe me? Check out Psalm 83:18 in the King James Version- most editions include God's name in that verse, but no other.

Here is an ORTODOX Christian answer . (Countries like Greek and Russia are in majority ortodox..).believe them , there were very many martyrs ...even sons of emperors became martyrs and saints and a little emperor and all we know know from them !)
We the Ortodox Christians believe based on the Bible that God is a Trinity , like we the people are families .So it results ...
God is ---- God The Father , Jesus , and Holly Spirit
Why is Jesus also God ?or a part of God ?I mean a God , a divine Person . Because Jesus is The Son of God .And The Son of God is also a God , not a human being. We are sons and daughters of God in a different aspect, 'cos we are made on purpose, but Jesus Son of God is not made as some believe , Jesus is an eternal God living in Heaven together with God The Father and God The Holly Spirit . They are one and the same God because they are having the same mind and will , like a family has ....
Maybe The Holly Spirit is a kind of uncle ...but the boss is God The Father .
So do you understand what I am saying ?I studied languages and literatures , in Europe ..having even an American teacher or two .I hope I can make myself understood .
Jesus is not like you and me , we are not gods , but we can be called also children of God, while Jesus is a different Son of God , the eternal , without being born , so Jesus is also a God , is part of God, part of the Holly Trinity.Three persons are eternal from eternity ...Father , Jesus , and the Holly Spirit .
Jesus was sent on the Earth , becoming a baby(He was born of the Blessed Virgin in order to have a body like ours , because the bodies a different in Heaven, and He was born on the Earth , I suppose because there were many sinners and they had to know something clear about His identity...The prophets knew and told the crowd that the Son of God shall come , and not a common man , but there were many sinners who were not interested in that matter . They were interested only to drink , have sex ,want something that belongs to others , be proud without giving glory to God .)
Other Christian sections ..don't believe thet Holly Spirit is also a Person from God .They think that Holly Spirit is the soul of God The Father . Why not the soul of Jesus as well ?I mean , something like I say ..me and ...my mind , or soul ...But in Genesis ..it is written that the ''Holly Spirit ''was above the waters ..It is like you say ....my mind is in mountains ...while you are at seaside ... The Bible could say then , in Genesis ...God was above waters ...not ''The Holly Spirit was above waters ''. Because you know ..Jesus could walk on waters ..so The Holly Spirit was walking on waters ..in Genesis ...in Bible .at the begining.
Then if the Holly Spirit was just the mind and soul of God, this could have been expressed gramatically ant sintacticaly and semanticaly along the Bible...But it doesn't happen , so we understand it is a third Person , especially that at Abraham when God visited him to tell that Sarah will have a baby, Three Persons came ...and He adressed Them :My God, My Lord ...resulting from what They did and the way Abraham talked and Lot talked to Them , they were God, partially incognito.
Probably if it is not very politely introduced by God, like a new student :''Please meet The Holly Spirit '', remember that Son of God wasn't known by all from the begining , only by those prophets who deserved to see God (Isaiah , Daniel , Iezechia ; Daniel saw Jesus before His arrival on Earth being born of The Blessed Virgin)so it results , it is not our business to ask God and inquire about everything ...what is in His Kingdome so we are let to know that there are Three Persons...this Three Persons are Our God...

Well i cannot give you the answer on who God is, but it says in Exodus 3:14, "I am who I am"
Now, Jesus is the Son of God, but the reason we call them both God is because Jesus, God and the Holly spirit are 3 different people, but all One. i like to see the example of water, ice, and vapor, all three different components, but all one source.

Not all Christians...followers of Jesus Christ...believe the false teaching that Jesus IS God.
A true Christian knows from scripture that Jesus is God's son.
Even the demons have confirmed that.
(Matthew 8:29) And, look! they screamed, saying: “What have we to do with you, Son of God? Did you come here to torment us before the appointed time?”
(Mark 5:7-9) and, when he had cried out with a loud voice, he said: “What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I put you under oath by God not to torment me.” 8Â For he had been telling it: “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit.” 9Â But he began to ask him: “What is your name?” And he said to him: “My name is Legion, because there are many of us.”

God is one, but exists in three persons -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Try not to reconcile it with human limits on understanding. Thinking about the nature of the Trinity requires one to think far outside the box.

We know the difference. Jesus is not God. The bible states this. Jesus is the son of god like you said. Maybe you are confused with calling him LORD?

Its about the Trinity. you simply have to admit that God exists in 3 persons - God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Ghost.
Anyhow, there are basic propositions in any religion that you have to accept them without considering.
Faith is faith.
