there is no problem. just move ahead to install the OS in ur hard disk.

Simple, you can't. Windows ME does not support NTFS. It only supports FAT/FAT 32. For NTFS, you need Windows 2000/XP/Vista.

I'd say Windows NT too but it needs to be installed on a blank drive first and NTFS patches applied to make it even boot with newer versions of NTFS, plus NT doesn't support FAT 32.

Re-format the ME partition to FAT32.

This is an ideal time to get one of the free, reliable and up to date operating systems. You can do a dual boot with ME. My favorites are UBUNTU and XUBUNTU. Once you install one of these you gain access to over 5,000 free programs produced by the open source community.
