The hijab/veil is not magic. It does not protect any woman from any harm that a man may want to do to her. This erroneous misconception that the hijab/veil protects women is crap. The only thing that protects a woman(regardless of what she's wearing) from a man...is the man controlling himself and behaving like a human being and not an animal. Thats it in a nutshell.

You are asking for something that will take at least many years to do. Personally, I do not like it when muslim women all of a sudden demand to wear their veils. This is based on the Muslim logic. If an American is caught defiling the koran in Iraq, Muslims in America say something and protest as well in other countries. But then have an American soldier beheaded by Muslims and then did you protest this. No. You want your rights but then forget what country you are in. This is for Britians too. I tell them all. If you do not like this country go back to Iraq. Better yet, go back to Iran to be treated like a Muslim woman. Oh, I forgot, a Muslim woman with NO RIGHTS. LOL Yea, you want your rights in the USA but then you do not want to support the American rights. Muslims in other countries have sent a bad example, but then funny, I see it here in the US too. So how come they want to stay here and whine like dogs then go to a true Muslim country where the women will be treated like low class, no rights, Muslim women should be treated. Where if she even whines she will be mistreated or even killed. Hmmm, I wonder on this question?

i understand the reasons through history and faith why the veil is used. it is to block any unwanted sins of lust and protect the daughter of islam from being judged incorrectly. its like a protection from evil.
in the western world Women MODEL NUDE in Underwear advertisements in newspapers. and i dare confess many young men lose their chasteness through lusting after those pictures, and some public tv channels show nudity and breasts openly. So, in ONCE STRICT definition of the holy scriptures western civilization looks really BAD and EVIL to Muslims.

However, nudity is NOT the sin of mankind, no one can protect against somehow being forced into being nude. Remember God created Adam and EVE, and they were naked without clothing, and THEY WERE NOT ASHAMED. So there was no sin, until knowledge of evil told them they Had sinned.
Another thing to consider is the Story of the Daughter of Jesus, I think her name was TAMARA, because she knew her lack of wearing a veil in the Indian culture did not make her SIN, she refused to wear one even though she was publickly criticized.

the western world, especially in America is Tottally oppressed by a nazi SATANIC regim which controls the government through the wealth of other country Leaders. NOt all americans serve satan but than again the christians that do follow satan would NOT continue following satan if it can be proven.
the same thing can be said about Muslims. Not all muslims would follow satan if they knew who they were following was not God THE MOST HIGH.

Well you see, one defining characteristic of Muslims (me included) is that we care not for the opinions of others, rather we are creatures whos sole purpose is to please God. Although I do know many Hijab (not face covering, but hair covering Muslim women who have done talks and such)

Be more open and vocal, tell why they wear and get the media to broadcast them.
