10 years ago I met the man who is now my fiancee. 5 years ago we broke up due to my immaturity and, long story short, I went through a marriage and a divorce. I know I can trust this man with my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son because of how well I know him and how he views everything in life in general. I've been thinking about some things, and just would like your opinions. When we rehooked up, he was sort of quiet. Now he's really opening up and even asking me what kinds of things I like in the bed, which is a huge step for him as he is not normaly one who "discusses" it. We can stay in the same room for hours just talking, and if the children are around and playing in another room for a few minutes, we have a mini makeout session. He is always doing nice things, and if my daughter cries for something, out the door he is to get it. I have my own money, no worries there ,but he keeps pushing his at me. What's up with that? It doens't matter what it is, he pushes.

Sounds like a great guy and it's awesome that you can trust him. He obviously cares a lot about you and loves you that's why he pushes his money on you. He wants to be the provider he wants to support you. It's not that you don't have the money it's the fact that he wants to step up and put his all into this marriage

Hi, It sounds like he is only trying to play the row of being the man of the house. I would go with the flow at this time. But if he gets more pushy on giving you his money for things have a talk with him,and tell him how you feel about this. He really sounds like he cares for you and your children. He really sounds like a very nice person. A Friend.

It doesn't sound that he is pushing. It sounds like he's doing everything in his power to ensure that you know that he is head over heals for you. If the relationship goes further than just hanging out and casual sex, and you know what I am saying! possible marriage material. than you guys can share everything because everything will be both of yours. enjoy the experience for now and if it stays strong go for it. If it putters out drop the guy like a fish that broke off the hook.

It means he wants to take care of you. It's a typical guy trait to want to pay for a woman, and among certain people it's even expected. If it bothers you just tell him you like to pay for yourself and use your own money. He sounds like the type of guy who would listen.
