yes, they are not thinking traditionally like religious couples, they know this is the only life they have so they want to enjoy more of it, whereis religious couple are more family oriented, not much individualism

Being "childless" or not having children is not always a choice that couples make "by choice" if you will. Perhaps they cannot conceive. Not having children does not make one an Athiest for cripes sake. It is either a choice (look at the world situation for instance)...or they just cannot have children, and don't wish to adopt. Not having children certainly does not "make" an Athiest.

I know 3 childless couples and they all have faith in God, 2 of the couples now have adopted children, and one has not.

not necessarily. maybe have an inability to have children. maybe have a lifestyle that isnt good for raising kids. maybe they are self centered and know that they wont have the patience for kids. has nothing really to do with spirituality. peace
