Because they have not had a true encounter...they are still living in both worlds and that means they aren't true christians...They just need prayer and love for them to change their ways...

Alcohol is probihited in the old testament and in the Quran
Alcohol is The mother of all evils, lives and families are destroyed because of the use of this dangerous Intoxicant. Most
of the crimes committed today are under the influence of Alcohol
It is a social evil and the holy Quran Describes it as a Devils
Handy work and enjoins upon the Muslims to abstain from it
if one wants to Prosper. The prophet of Islam[ peace and blessings be upon him forbid drinking Alcohol even in the
smallest of quantaties and that is why Muslims abstain from
Alcohol.
The christians on the other hand are the biggest consumers of
Alcohol, in the USA alone there are Millions of Alcoholics, yet
the catholic church remains silent on this issue, because they
Have no solutions to the problems of society. And how could
they object to Alcohol, when Jesus [ peace be on him ] Himself
started his Career with a ***** action at the wedding in Caina
where the Bible Boasts that Jesus [ peace be on him ] turned
water into wine so that people could Drink, get drunk and enjoy
themselves.[ Muslims will never believe that a man approved of
God would do such a thing] wine has since then flowed in
christendome. The Shepherds also enjoy a Tot of wine during Mass so why should the Flock not enjoy themselves.many
christians also go to Mass after consuming Alcohol and think
nothing of it.I must add though that there are many christians
who do not drink and present themselves well in society.

Ah, yes the fighting and drinking Christians. This is, of course, a tribe of Christians that few people know much about. They even believe in evolution, can you believe that? I think that the F&D Christians were formed by KISS in about 1984. And they do everything real fast just like you say, one moment they are doing one thing and the next moment another. And I think they go to church because most of them are homeless and need a place to sit down for a while. I even heard that one time they smoked some pot. This maybe just a rumor though.

The Christians that do this are people first. There are no rules about drinking as long as you don't do it to excess. The fighting thing I don't get either. I guess they get caught up in the moment like everyone else.

I agree, sounds like a generalization, or a bad experience that you have had no. I know a lot of Christians who do not drink.

Christians aren't perfect. They're sinners saved by grace. They come to Jesus "just as they are" at different ages... I was 18.
It usually takes a lifetime to work out the kinks and flaws of our humanity... the stuff we grew up with, the habits we formed, but we have the promise that He who began a good work in us will perfect it until the day of Christ...
If perfection is what you want to see, look at Jesus Christ... if love and forgiveness in action is what you want to see, go to church and look at all the imperfect people who have found reconciliation to God, not out of their own doing, but Christ's.

As a Christian who drinks I would say I do not fight. Jesus enjoyed His wine. I enjoy any manner of spirits. Maybe you can tell me who drinks and fights? I only know fools who do that. I would like to kick a few asses myself though, but I'm just too moral to do it!

This hypocrisy is not confined to the Christians alone. For some one, who claim to be pure and spiritually advanced, this holier than thou attitude will be an undoing.
