The name Thailand sells by itself with it comes to the tourism industry. However, what could the PEOPLE do *kindly exclude the Government* in order to improve it? How do farangs get the same price of beer as another Thai (just an example)?

The Thais are doing pretty well for the tourism. If only you can take the foreigners from running the tourist areas with their western-priced bars and resorts, I think everything will be much better.

I have been to Thailand several times and notice that the Thai people were very friendly and helpful. So I say do more of the same and keep smiling.

don't worry bout the gov't the Thai willl take control again soon.
And to get the same prices, learn some Thai and make friends. Then, not only will you get the same prices but the Thai will look out for and defend you. On New Yrs eve, for example, there were bombs in Bangkok and my friend went to great lengths to get that info to me...and warn me not to go out for midnight. Shortly after that call, Thai friends of my son called, same warnings...and so on...and that is just a tiny taste of how much love we feel from our Thai friends.
