well i m about to graduate in few months and i want to work in either in United States or Canada!!! I have otherwise added a european experience on my resume in 2004 as i had interned for 6 months in Montpellier,France in a 4 star property. I now want to work in United States or Canada. i m just 20 and will turn 21 this year in october!!!! i m tired of applying on the internet as every hotel which gives an ad for a vacancy on the internet says non-work permit holders are not eligible to apply. I m seriously depressed on that part Please help!!!!!!!

Sorry to dissapoint, But hotel management doesnt sound like a hot skill. (I could be mistaken). But H1B are sponsored mostly for software engeneere, Investment bankers/management consultants (Big house only), and Fundamental sciences PhD's (like theoretical physics). Advanced degree is almost a must, or 5 years of work experience.

Your best bet - 2 years of experience then graduate school US/Canada.
