Depends, have you two discussed not seeing any other people? If not then you are still single, which you still have the option to mingle. I would say that your not in a relationship until, both of you have agreed not to see anyone else. Good luck!!

It depends on whether or not you've decided to see each other exclusively. Before that, you're single. But this won't be an issue for me — I only have first dates, and they're all in the name of research. Or, if not that, the pursuit of a FwB.

If I think it's gonna work out, I'd consider myself in a relationship. If I feel like everything will be over soon, I'd consider myself single.

Hard to say. Most couple now a days don't really bother to declare themselves "official" When they go out they just go out. But I see what you mean, if the guy never asked you to be gf in at least a subtle way, then you're not in a relationship with him.

hmm just consider it dating because with people now a days you just never know what the other person is thinking...in time it will all be obviouse if a relationship is around the corner...

well if they just asked you on a date then yeah i think you would be single but if they ask you "out" then no.
