I AM FAR FROM A JUNKEY. I GET UP AT 3:00 AM FOR WORK AND HAVE 2 KIDS.
I ONLY TAKE THEM WHEN I HAVE TO WORK THE NEXT DAY. I WORK FOUR DAYS A WEEK 12 HOUR SHIFTS.

I understand I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital. The have stopped the 8 hour shits unless you are in a management position which I don;t think is fair at all. Any way back to your question. I also have problems sleeping even with sleeping medication, But you probably have so much on your mind the medication helps you relax, but does not relax you enough to cause you to sleep. This is such a hard situation to be in maybe you should talk to your doctor and see if he can change your medication. There are a lot of medication on the the market. I tired Ambien which did help me sleep but the amnesia was so bad before I would sleep I would talk to people on the phone and not remember it. But the breaking point was one night my husband had car trouble and called me to come get him. I don't remember any thing except I goy pulled over by the police because I was weaving.Thank God no charges were filed. They just took me to the police department because they knew I was not drunk and waited for the med to wear off. Then I told them what I remember and promised I would call my Doctor which I did and he changed my med to lunesta. But It really only keep me asleep for about two hours. But I guess that is better than nothing. Good luck to you.

hi, I have a grate tip, which will make you sleep, OK, get a napkin and put it in the hot water, then put the napkin on your eye, it should make you sleep, but i don't know if I understood you right, but I think you don't want to sleep? well whatever you want to do, do not take any sleeping pills, because it may help you in some way, but it's also bad for you. good luck
