I'm not sure how old you are but if you are a kid then tell your parents and avoid going out alone together if it's that bad.
It is unfortunately quite normal for sisters to be like that. You could always try yelling back louder and mimic her.

If all that fails then just walk away.

Really, just ignore her, not reacting to her yelling will just piss her off even more, it may not shut her up, but it might make you a happier person. Even walking away from her would be good as well. My sister yells a lot as well and I just laugh, yelling doesn't do anything and cuss words are just words. Just think of something else and ignore it. Best of luck! :-)

Sounds like you and your family are not in the habit of behaving foul mouthed and ignorant as your sister is doing? As others have advised tell your parents, they need to know how she is acting. You don't state what age she is, I imagine probably a young teenager? Unfortunately she probably will not take any notice as she thinks it's cool behaving like this but you don't require to accept this. Walk away from her in public if she starts, if she follows you turn round to anyone witnessing and say in a clear, loud voice something like "This is my sister, I am really ashamed of the way she is acting. Unfortunately it is sad as she is ignorant, lacks class and knows no better". Don't apologise for her. This may set her off even worse but you have had the satisfaction of distancing yourself from her behavior. People who behave like this are often lacking in confidence and consider it the 'BIG' thing to do. Often as they mature they come to their senses and are really, nice respectable adults. However, I can't vouch what way your sister will choose because looking around sadly, there is a lot of adults whose language is atrocious. Best of luck and if your parents know about it, it is unfair of them to expect you to go around with her when they are not there. Telling them is not being a grass as it could lead to her taking the right path in the future.

If i were you i would have a go back at her and then just walk away so she cant get a word in. Then she will know what its like. Just be as hard as she is and she will soon stop talking to you like that. You could also sit her down at home and speak to her about how she is talking to you and tell her you dont like it.

Good luck

Next time she starts, smile sweetly and say "I LOVE you, you're the BEST big sister anyone could wish for!" and try to hug and kiss her.

It'll freak her out and embarrass her, and I bet she won't keep on doing it in public if she knows you're going to do that every time!

Just keep grinning and show your annoying sister the "middle finger" sign. Most importantly, never show her any facial expressions so as to successfully put the "middle finger" sign into great effect!
First, start with one hand(and keep grinning).

U be good to her no matter what. Remember its take two hands to clap! So u be patient n tolerant n soon u will see she will feel bad herself to yell at u for no fault of urs. in fact she may soon start liking u. So instead of correcting her, try to correct urself first.
