We're supposed to all be evangilists, yes.
Upon Christ's ascention into heaven, he told his followers to go to all the world and make disciples of every nation, and to baptize in the name of the father, son, and holy ghost.
We're all supposed to take part in this. We're all supposed to be spreading christs messege.

An evangelical christian is one who wants to share his(or her) faith with others and bring them to Christ. It is not someone who wants to be a lone ranger christian and keep this hope for eternity he has to himself and never share it with anyone else. Which one is the true christian, the evangelical christian or the lone ranger christian? Going by Mathew 28:18-20 which says "And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age", I would say the true christian is the evangelical christian. That was the last thing Jesus said on earth before He ascended into heaven.

I think you mean fundamentalist christians. All christians are supposed to say they are christians.
Yes it is possible to be a Christian without being a fundamentalist Christian. To be a Christian you need to believe that Christ is the Son of God and that He paid for your sins on the cross, His blood cleanses you of all sin and you take Him as your Saviour and Lord.
I believe that true Christians spend time with Him in prayer, listening to His Holy Spirit and reading God's word, the Bible.
I believe some Fundamentalists become so immersed in the Bible and arguments about what it says that they forget that Christianity is a relationship between Christ and each individual. They end up spending fruitless hours searching and arguing about things instead of asking Christ what He wants them to do.
There is a book called "What Would Jesus Do?" Which implies you do what Jesus would do in a situation. But Jesus himself never said "What would my Father Do in this situation?" What Jesus did was that He always prayed to His Father and asked Him what was His will. "God what is Your will?" I think that is where Fundamentalist Christians part company with other conservative Christian denominations.
To some Christians, Christianity is a relationship. To others, all what God has to say or ever will say to you is found in the Bible. If that is true, why would Jesus send us His Holy Spirit to console us, show us His love for us, pour out our troubles to Him and get answers and consolation from the Holy Spirit? Who tells us what we did is wrong and why and who tells us how to do better next time. Who speaks to us when we are being tempted and says "Ask me for help, I can defeat Satan."
A sheep doesn't try to think what the shepherd would do, a sheep follows the shepherd.
I also believe that some Fundamentalists, not all, but some, make up "laws" and rules for living by taking Bible verses out of context and put togethor verses that were never meant to be put togethor. togethor.

Evangelism is a critical component of Christianity as a religion (in other words, without it there is no Christianity).
An Evangelist preaches the gospel of Christ. All Christians are supposed to preach the gospel of Christ, but they are not all necessarily an evangelist. Just like you might teach someone something, but that does not really make you a Teacher.
Evangelism is a commandment of Christ.
Mr 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
2Ti 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Paul was compelled to be an evangelist.
1Co 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
Christ preached the gospel of the kingdom of God, and we are to follow His example, even if it means losing everything that we have. (see Mark 10:28-30)

Yes all Christians are told to demonstrate their faith to others. You might be confusing evangelism with missionary work. All Christians are called to be evangelists like at their work and other areas at their life, but not all Christians are called to go "into the field" as missionaries.

some Christian evangelism does. Door knocking and boisterous outside screaming with a megaphone would not help. with regard to kin, some Christians can certainly push it a touch too confusing and too regularly. you could't verbally strongarm human beings into heaven, it in simple terms would not artwork that way. They develop into alientated by the years no longer by the message, yet by you.

An Evangilist is someone who tells about the gospel (The Bible), the disciples of Jesus are the first Evangilist. Anyone who tells about the Bible and Jesus is evangilist, but it is also a Religion, a denomination of Christianity.
