I met this Aussie guy last year who I really like. I email him sometimes. Lately, I've been emailing him quite a bit because I'm going to be in Australia for a while and would like to see him. He's told me quite a bit about Australia but he never offered to show me around or a place to stay. He'll question me on things, why this, why that and show a little interest.
I do like him but I don't know if I should ask him if he wants to meet up. What should I do?

If a man is really into you and likes/loves you, he'll make the first move irregardless of how shy he is or could be. If I were a guy and I know the girl I like is coming over to Australia, then I'd be more than happy to show her around or helping her to find a place to stay instead of questioning her. In your case, I am sorry to say that he's not that into you and I don't think it's a good idea to ask him out. Well, there's a possibility that he's already attached. Moreover, it's very unpleasant for a girl to ask a guy out unless they are already in relationship. You could just email him that you are now in Australia and see how he responds. If he responds to you, it's a good sign but if he doesn't, I advise you to leave it just like that and do not even think of pursuing any relationship with him.

Ah, this is a hard one. On the one hand, you don't want to force things by asking him to meet up. But on the other hand, you don't wanna miss out on something special that could result from your request to meet. Maybe once you're in Australia you could let him know, and if he doesn't ask you to meet up, then just ask him if he wants to meet. The worst that could happen is he says "no." And if he does, move on, cause there's way too many other hot Aussies around and certainly no time to mope over one! Good luck =)

Hey... Go for it! You'll never know until try... If he DOES like you, He's probably REALLY shy... People always say that it should be the GUYZ that make the first move, but i think that's just WRONG! If you like him, just ask him out... If he feels the same than that's great! if he doesn't, then... er... woah... maybe you might find somebody else who WILL! You seem really nice and i'm sure that if he says no to you, one day, he just might regret it... Hope it goes well...!

why not meet up with him? you are obviously looking forward to it, so ask him and see if he wants to. if he doesn't, then i would say that he doesn't like you. if he gives an excuse, he may, but there really might be problems that he needs to deal with. If he says yes, i think he likes you- a guy wouldn't escort a girl around a country out of courtesy :) go for it!

totally ask him if u already know him but always make sure someone is with u for safety purposes. but yeah ask him.
