We are not supposed to hate.... I know it's really hard not to sometimes, but we shouldn't, because that is what God asks of us. We just have to resist him... When I was in Sunday school my teacher put it like this..... " Satan does exist, but we just have to let him know that we aren't listening to him. Tell him to get behind us, because we only listen to God"

No, Just tolerance, I am Roman Catholic, but does he really exist, I think it's a decoy to loving god and not sin and not be tempted by evil. Religion is made up of what people have heard through the years but not seen. The saying I love "believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see.

The words "satan" and "god" indicate labels, "masks" if you will. The being (or lack thereof) that is universally accepted simply wears these different masks as a helper for us to learn life's lessons. And since our society is so hooked on LABELING, it seems to work!

"Satan" is a creation by men thousands of years ago as a way to control people through fear.
You are fearing your religion. You are hating what your religion teaches you, and in doing so, acting as a hypocrite by hating.

Having more love for God would piss satan off, do it that way, instead of hating him.

No. Satan did exactly what God told him to do. Read the entire Bible and see what it really says (it's usually NOT what preachers claim it says).

Satan is where we got free will from, not God. Satan made us into humans instead of dumb robots.

well of course we can resist him, but the devil hates us and lives to destroy, so I prefer to despise him, and love, honor, and respect God
