i'm pretty much just sick of my hair growing so fast and having to get it cut and not really liking how it turns out so i'm thinking about buzzing it all myself. i have a conair trimmer, do u think this will do the job? any other tips and tricks to offer?

I'm sure you could get a friend to do it because you can't see the back. But if you're going to do it definitely use the guard and have a good hat ready just in case.

Use the #2 guard, and make sure it's lubed up well. If it's not lubed, you'll have an unpleasant experience.

Invest in a flowbee. For about $45.00 I hear that they work great and save people a lot of money on haircuts.
