i think that there is nothing wrong with christians getting tattoos. i am a christian with tattoos. i'm not going to hell because of them. it does say in the bible not to mark yourself with tattoos in mourning in the old testament. but i do not follow all of the rules and guidelines set aside by the old testament including sacrificing animals and going thru certain prayer rituals nor do i eat or not eat certain things that the bible said they should and shouldn't. and marriage, don't even get me started on marriage. do we still stone adulterous women? i can't remember... oh yeah... no. things have changed yet people still harp on tattoos as if it was one of the main foundations of the bible. it wasn't.

i love my tattoos! they are art!!

I think it is good if it has some deep meaning. If you get the same crap that everyone else has just to be cool, then I don't think it is really worth it. That being said, tattoos are all about self expression, so if that's how you want to express your self, then go for it.

I dont think is really matters whether your christian or not it all depends on you and what your views of having a tatoo are...personally i think that its your body god created for you and if thats the way you like to express yourself then thats totally fine, God wont punish you or think anything of it, he's understanding and forgiving but whats there to forgive, use your body as you please he gave it to you and you should do what please you. I'm catholic and i believe that.

I'm sure they're numerous people with tattoos of Jesus on their bodies.

I personally think most tattoos look tacky. Why would someone want to blemish their skin forever when the cosmetics' industry spends millions of dollars a year to help remove blemishes?

When I was a child I remember a pastor talking about a woman getting a tattoo of a cross on her breast. All I could think was that is sexy.

I am not exactly a big fan of tattoos, maybe because I've seen many people trying hard to get rid of them after a while. So, what difference does the religion make, one way or another ...
