I need a cleanser that just cleans and that's it, no special acne treatment, exfoliator, etc. I've tried products before that claim to be gentle but they always overdry my skin even when I apply moisturizer afterwards. While on this subject, what is the best moisturizer to use that won't clog my pores? (By the way, I prefer products with more natural ingredients.) Thanks in advance!

Well, the reason why I wanted more natural ingredients because I kind of assumed that my skin will be less dependent on it in case I run out or something but I could be wrong. So I guess for the next answers, you can respond to this too. :)

i use a facial cleanser that does just that and a moisturizer. IS clinical has a cleansing complex and a moisturizing spf cream that is lightweight and doesnt clog your pores.. and my skin looks great. also for a good foundation try true mineral makeup it has a natural spf and it wont clog your pores because the minerals are too large. and it is hypoallergenic so chances are you wont break out from it!!!

Either Spectro Gel or Cetaphil! They're the best cleansers out there, they have no soap or anything, they just clean off oil then rinse cleanly off. Everytime I've gone back to regular cleaners I can feel the difference on my face... just not as clean.
You should have a good reason if you really want something natural. Natural is rarely better for skin cleaners because there are more random or unknown chemicals in them that could cause breakouts or skin problems. Artificial cleaners you know exactly what's in them and the ingredients are specially selected to be good for skin. If you really want natural though then you can go to a health food store or Bulk Barn and get some pure glycerine bar soap. It has nothing unnecessary, no moisturisers or perfumes or anything, and all it does it clean! You can get it in animal-source glycerine or vegetable glycerine form.
Oh and the best moisturizer ever is Lac-Hydrin. It's made with lactic acid which is supposed to be found on your skin and has natural anti-microbial properties, and I find it's good for not causing acne or oiliness... and it works ridiculously well. Even if you put it on an area with a thick layer of rough dry skin like the elbows it will actually re-moisturise the dead skin after applying it once.

You've got to try L'Bri Pure n' Natural Skin care, it's amazing stuff. Aloe is the first ingredient in L'Bri's skin care line, and the rest of the ingredients are vitamins, minerals, herbs and botanicals. There is no water (which dilutes all ingredients), drying alcohol or synthetic oil in the products, which enables the aloe to penetrate into the second and third layer of skin where all the damage starts, and heal your skin from the inside out. L'Bri is incredibly healing and makes your skin feel so soft and hydrated. The reason that most cleansers and so harsh on your skin is because of the ingredients...lots of harsh chemicals that are so drying. It's all about natural ingredients! Give it a try, it's 100% guaranteed. Check it out at suenelson.lbri.com. You can even order a starter set for around $5 that will give you a week's worth of the skin care to try, you'll love it!

Sometimes the simplest things are still the best. Use a mild soap, the kind you would use on a baby. Rinse well, pat dry, never rub. Apply Oil of Olay generously, or less expensive and quite good...Vaseline, put a thin layer on your clean skin and face at night and in the morning your skin will feel very soft and look good. Neutrogena also makes an excellent line of facial cleansers.

Well you're on the right track. Stay away from all of those supermarket brands especially if you still have young skin. The toxins in them will eventually do more harm than good. Don't be fooled by advertising on the bottles - read the ingredients labels on the back and make up your own mind. Avoid such ingredients as Sodium Laurel Sulphate, Formaldehyde, DEA, TEA, talc, PEG, and propylene glycol. All of these ingredients are very harmful in one way or another, not only to your skin but they can be absorbed thru the skin and accumulate in our organs.
take care and make a wise choice!!!

For cleanser with more natural ingredients without drying your skin out, opt for something without foam. I would recommend Burt's Bee's Orange Essence Cleanser / Kiehls Gentle Cleansing Foam, I tried both of them and it's really good not drying out skin, you can check the info and reviews here: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?option=com_facileforms&Itemid=&ff_name=ReviewList&ff_param_section=2&ff_param_cat=20&ff_param_limit=10&ff_param_order=SubmissionDateNew
Whereas for moisturizer, if you are just looking for moisturizing effect without other functions, then L'occitane Honey Cream is good: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?option=com_facileforms&Itemid=&ff_name=ReviewList&ff_param_section=2&ff_param_cat=23&ff_param_limit=10&ff_param_order=SubmissionDateNew

Original formula Noxema for your cleanser or Cetaphyl Lotion. Works Like a charm, been using it since my teens. Have been complemented many times on my complexion.
I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin for a moisturizer.

Aveeno oat-derived soap bars. They also produce soy cleansers which are also good but it's the oat products that dermatoligists recommend.
You can buy it anywhere -- Wal-Mart, drug store. And it's cheap.
Cetaphil is known to dry and break out some people's skin. Use at your own risk.

Mary Kay is really good. If you would prefer something else, Try Johnson and Johnson's baby body wash. That is the gentlest that you can buy. I don't know about a moisturizer other than Mary Kay, though.
